Father Patrick Fodor
The Rev Dr. Patrick Fodor, assisting priest at St. John’s Cathedral, is a native of Buffalo, New York. He is married to Crista Fodor, and together they have three children. Canon Fodor teaches adult Sunday School class at St. John’s during the school year.
Dr. Fodor earned an M. Div. from Brock University: Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. His doctorate is from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He also earned a M.A. in Eastern Orthodox theology from the University of Balamand’s St. John of Damascus School of Theology (Tripoli, Lebanon), and a certificate in Anglican Studies at Logos House of Theological Studies in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. He serves as Canon to the Ordinary (i.e., to the Bishop). He is also a full-time tenured Professor of Humanities (Religion and Philosophy) at John Wood Community College.
